After a long hard day at work,
there's nothing better than getting to beat-up on
punching bags and pads, and sweat our all that stress
during an hour long martial arts class. It's like
getting a "mini-vacation" several times each week. Once
you put on that uniform and step out on the training
floor, all your troubles will just seem to vanish.

"The atmosphere that

Top notch instruction"
I think that I can pretty much some up
Yang’s with one word. Atmosphere. There are
a lot of schools around Halifax and having
talked to people that have attended or are
attending other schools, it’s the atmosphere
that really stands out. That’s not to say
that we don’t have top notch instruction
because we absolutely do but one of the
things that I enjoy most about the school is
how supportive the people are and that
nobody takes themselves too seriously. I
believe that begins with the Instructor and
it makes Yang’s a very unique and special
place.
I also really enjoy the variety that the
school offers. As well as learning the
traditional kicks, blocks and punches,
adding the additional components such as
self defense, cardio and kickboxing makes
for not only a good time, but excellent
cross training as well.
Overall, I’m really pleased with Yang’s – my
only complaint is that I don’t have enough
free time to attend more classes

I joined Yang's a year ago as
a way to supplement the training I do at the
gym. It's achieved that goal and so
much more. It's helped me grow in many
respects, both physically and mentally.
I've tried other martial arts
programs but the one at Yang's is the best

challenging, it works for people of varying
levels of physical ability but most
