Is this the right program for me?

 

Well, when choosing a school, you must first understand clearly what you expect to gain from learning Martial Arts.  Yang's Martial Arts Program is popular because no other activity can provide the same results as our program can for each individual participant.  Whether your goals are self confidence, self defense, personal development, fitness, flexibility or to earn a black belt, our program will take you there.

 

 

How long are the classes?

 

Classes are not necessarily more valuable if they are longer.  Class length depends on the skill level of the class.  Our Adult Beginners program last about 55 minutes.

 

 

Why Martial Arts Program beats other traditional fitness programs?

 

Yang's Martial Arts Program is a Fun, Dynamic, Fulfilling Workout for Adults.  Our adult students really appreciate the differences between our program and other traditional fitness programs.  Our exercise program comes with a bonus!  You learn to defend yourself while you get in shape. I think the confidence building part of our program is what students appreciate the most.  Nothing can take the place of the security in knowing that you can defend yourself, if you have to.  The emphasis on mind and body training goes far beyond the benefits of standard, health club type exercise programs.

 

Do you have to be athletic to enroll?

The beauty of our martial arts program is you don't have to be an overly athletic to be good at it.  Adults who train in any type of martial arts can and will become outstanding students under only one condition -- that they stick with it!  Soon adults develop a great sense of respect for themselves as they start to see the improvements and incredible feats that can be accomplished through a little hard work and determination.

 

Will there be other beginners in my class?

 

At this centre, the students are grouped by age and rank.  This means that you should be in a class with other beginners and lower ranks.
 

How many classes should I attend per week?

For beginners we recommend two classes per week, and if eligible 3 times a week.

 

How long will it take to attain a Black Belt?

 

The minimum time requirement is 3 years. 

 

Are the workouts a great way to get in shape?

Yang's Martial Arts workout is like an exercise program with a bonus!  You learn to defend yourself while you get in shape. 

 

Does the program help relieve stress?

Our program is well known for its stress relieving benefits.  The emphasis on mind and body training goes far beyond the benefits of standard, health club type exercise programs.

 

Is the program fun?

 

The reason our program is so successful is because we make the classes fun and exciting.  We learned a long time ago that if you are having fun, you learn much faster.

 

 

How do I enroll?

Students may enroll at any time.  Our program is ongoing and not based around a specific time frame.  Space it limited so call today to make an appointment for a Introductory session.  This way you get a chance to try our program, see our facility, meet our instructors and other students.
